People are catching on!

Since this year is coming to an end, i thought i would tell you a very funny story. This year my family went on holiday to Cornwall. since i was not going, they took the opportunity to have a week free from deadliest catch topics. they therefore thought up a "DC swear box". anyone who mentioned "deadliest catch" or "Northwestern" or "sig" or anything relating to the Bearing sea, crab fishing, alaska, etc. had to put a pound into the swear box. The real hilarious bit though is when they found out that they actually missed talking about DC and so the ingenious people found a way to talk about it in code. so "deadliest catch" became "mad norwegian fishermen in boats on a stormy pond" (i decided not to point out that they arent all norwegian) and "bearing sea" became "dangerous pond" etc. so by talking in code, they managed to owe less money to the swear box than they would have done. i thought this was funny untill they got home and didnt tell me the swear box was still functional. I therefore started whittling on about all things deadly and i ended up owing the swear box about 20 pounds before they thought they should tell me! family. they dont get it. but they are catching on! :D
